| Coffee! This is what my parents drink every morning and lunch. Our kitchen smells nice in the mornings because it. My parents said they like the taste and the nice smell of it. However, they will not let me drink coffee because they said it is not good for children. I believe they are incorrect because there are a few reasons how coffee could be beneficial for me.

| First of all, coffee has caffeine which gives the body extra energy. As a student, I study a lot and as a result I get tired every day. My parents tell me to exercise so that I can get the extra energy I need. But, I do not have the time and I am usually too tired to run. One day, I decided to drink coffee when my parents were still sleeping. Instead of watching TV or playing games, I was able finish my school and academy homework quickly. Although my stomach felt a little weird, I felt proud about finishing what I needed to do. | Development: Support 1

| The second reason coffee can be beneficial is that it reduces my stress. I did not know that I was so stressed but my friends said that I have big dark circles like a panda. This made me sad because I felt old even though I am just in elementary school. I did not want to look this way. So, after that first time of drinking coffee, I bought coffee again on the way to school the next week. Afterwards, I was energetic all day at school. I played dodgeball with my friends and I volunteered in class very well.
These are the reasons why I believe coffee can help me although I am not an adult. Therefore, my parents should let me drink it. |
