C2/C2D Personal Perspective Essay Sample 2
The internet is helping many people around the world. I believe that the internet is beneficial for two reasons.

Idea

Clear opinion of the topic.

To begin, the internet keeps people connected. For example, I used to live abroad for a year. That year would have been the most depressing and lonely time of my life if not for the internet. Thanks to online services such as Skype and social network websites, I was able to keep in touch with my loved ones. My first month was the hardest. I couldn’t adjust to my new place, there were foreigners everywhere speaking their own languages, and I couldn’t utter a simple sentence to order food. It was devastating to feel powerless and useless. However, my friends or parents would call me on Skype or message me through Facebook. They always asked how I was doing and they would always end their messages with, “I miss you.” The internet kept me sane by helping me connect to my loved ones when I needed them.

Furthermore, a plethora of resources are available online that helps all demographics. We are now able to access information anytime and anywhere. For instance, when I was abroad, my troubles stemmed mostly from the language barrier. I couldn’t understand a single thing the natives were saying! The other international students that lived in my dormitory were able to relate to me, but it didn’t solve my problem. That was when online lessons and personal blogs helped me. I researched the web and found people’s personal tips on how to adjust to alien cultures and learn practical phrases for daily life. Thanks to web resources, I was able to order food without dreading the fact that I would feel humiliated.

In conclusion, the internet benefits us because of connectivity and easy accessibility.

Avoid words like “good”and “bad” to have a more effective essay.
Be detailed. Use metaphors, similes and your 5 senses.

  4. “Lets eat grandma!” and “Let’s eat, grandma!” – I’ve seen plenty of grammatical errors concerning the use of commas. Here’s a short video on how to properly use Commas: https://youtu.be/ptM7FzyjtRk

Don’t forget: commas save lives :) Think of grandma!

  6. Question:
How many steps are there to writing?

    Answer:
    MORE than just one step!

Many people write more effectively if they first brainstorm and plan B4 they write.
YES! This does take some time, however it saves writing time later, after you have thought about WHAT to write and HOW to organize it.
