What does your name mean?

If there is any truth to my parents’ claims, the meaning behind my name is derived from a sense of serenity. To this day, however, I’m still not sure how much I believe it. Truthfully? I think they couldn’t think of anything to tell me when I asked them what my name meant, and thus, some answer like “serenity” was the result. My name is simply an extension of my identity; it is something that has separated me from others, as it is an uncommon name and, in this sense, the meaning is related to an idea of never forgetting who you are and where your roots first began to grow. |
